Ingredients
  

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup strawberries frozen
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup cashews raw, soaked
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract non-alcoholic (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, add all the ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy promptly.
  • Rinse blender with water. Then add about 1-2 inches of water back into blender with very little dish soap, blend on high for easy cleaning.

Notes

Non-alcoholic vanilla?!?! It is actually readily available and widely used in cooking and baking. They offer the same aromatic and flavor qualities as alcoholic vanilla extracts but without the alcohol content. These extracts are made by soaking vanilla beans in a water and glycerin solution, which extracts the flavor compounds from the beans without the need for alcohol. But an even easier option is, vanilla flavored milk instead of water!
