Introducing my vibrant Detox Salad – a delicious fusion of shaved Brussels sprouts, halved green grapes, pepitas pumpkin seeds, plump raisins, and a handful of fresh parsley. This nutrient-packed ensemble not only tantalizes your taste buds but also offers a refreshing detoxifying experience.
Brussels sprouts, often underrated but nutritionally mighty, are packed with health benefits. These mini-cabbages are a rich source of vitamins C and K, essential for immune function and bone health, respectively. Their high fiber content supports digestion and may aid in weight management by promoting a feeling of fullness. Brussels sprouts also contain antioxidants, including kaempferol, which may help reduce inflammation and combat oxidative stress in the body. Additionally, they provide small amounts of protein, contributing to overall nutrient intake.
